Kind Karma Yin Yoga Classes

Kind Karma Yin Yoga with Heidi (This Class Often Includes Sound Healing)

- Sunday, 1st & 4th Week of Month

Suitable for all and no experience necessary. 

This class is based on healing yin poses, deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. Many of the poses are seated, supine or prone and are gently held with the muscles relaxed, to increase circulation, improve flexibility, and promote the healthy flow of energy throughout the body, including the organs. Our yin yoga class gently releases and lengthens dense connective tissue of the hips, pelvis, spine, and shoulders which may otherwise become stiff and less mobile because of aging, old injuries or chronic overuse.

Yin poses are a wonderful compliment to a more vigorous yoga practice, running, cycling, or other more active pursuits. 

Includes a Rahini Yoga breath-meditation.

Class time: 75 minutes.

Kind Karma Vin-YIN Yoga (Vinyasa + Yin = YOGA AWESOMENESS!)

- Sunday, 2nd Week of the Month

Suitable for all levels. 

Vin-YIN Yoga, also referred to as Yin Yang Yoga, is a yoga sequence that combines Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga. This class, here at the studio, normally practices Vinyasas during the first half of the class, and Yin Yoga poses during the second half of the class.

The Vinyasa portion warms the body up and rids your body of stress, tension, and stagnant energy. After this, your body is ready to relax, lengthen and restore during the Yin Yoga portion. 

Includes healing crystal singing bowls and a Rahini Yoga breath-meditation.

Class time: 75 minutes.

Kind Karma Restorative Yin Yoga (Heal, Relax, Rejuvenate & Restore)

- Sunday, 3rd Week of Month

Suitable for all levels. 

If you want to heal, reduce stress and find serenity, then this class is for you! This class includes restorative poses held for a specific amount of time, supported by props that allow you to completely center, relax, rejuvenate and restore.

This class is different all the time, and might include light twists, seated forward folds, gentle backbends and modified and supported inversions. 

Includes healing crystal singing bowls and a Rahini Yoga breath-meditation.

Class time: 75 minutes.
