Classes Include Breath-Based Meditation

"Inspired Kid's Yoga" Classes with Naomi and Lauren

Our "Inspired Kid's" Yoga Classes are for children ages 4–6 and 7-10. These classes incorporate fun, creative and imaginative play to learn yoga poses, breathing and relaxation techniques, while emphasizing positive self-awareness/image, self-confidence and healthy relationship building. During our classes -- we encourage, and teach, the children to use our diverse sound instruments for "play-FUNness," healing, meditation, and for healthy emotional or behavioral artistic outlets. 

Power Rahini Yoga® with Heidi

Recommended for students with some prior yoga experience. Rahini Yoga® Flows (Vinyasas) and power breath sequences will elevate your metabolism, burn calories and reinvigorate you with a refreshing "afterburn." This class mixes in core work, and strengthening and toning yoga poses and movements. Even though, at times, this class might be challenging, variations are incorporated for all levels. The class ends with a soothing, restorative yoga sequence. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation. 

Yin Yoga with Heidi (With Healing Crystal Bowls)

Suitable for all and no experience necessary. This class is based on healing yin poses, deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. Many of the poses are seated, supine or prone and are gently held with the muscles relaxed, to increase circulation, improve flexibility, and promote the healthy flow of energy throughout the body, including the organs. Our yin yoga class gently releases and lengthens dense connective tissue of the hips, pelvis, spine, and shoulders which may otherwise become stiff and less mobile because of aging, old injuries or chronic overuse. Yin poses are a wonderful compliment to a more vigorous yoga practice, running, cycling, or other more active pursuits. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Yoga for Seniors with Heidi

A safe, gentle class for all needs -- sitting on the mat, standing, using the wall, sitting on a chair or incorporating user-friendly yoga props. This class varies its emphasis, such as: breathing for stress reduction, increasing flexibility, improving balance, core strengthening, muscular strength/tone, improving bone density, improving posture, focus and concentration, and more. All yoga poses are personalized to suit individual needs. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Vinyasa Flow & Go with Heidi

Suitable for all levels. A flowing sequence of specific yoga poses coordinated with movement and the breath. This Vinyasa class will challenge your aerobic endurance, enhance flexibility and build overall strength. You will create internal body heat and most likely sweat, so please bring a towel! This class is structured to include all levels. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Yoga-Pilates with Meryl

This class is suitable for everyone, as modifications and props are skillfully used. A blend of Pilates-on-the-mat with traditional and contemporary yoga poses. Emphasis is placed on correct posture alignment, core strength and tone, yoga pose alignment, and breathwork. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Pilates, Core & More with Meryl

This class is suitable for everyone, as modifications and props are skillfully used. A very creative Pilates-on-the-mat, yoga, breath and core class, as this class is never the same. Fun, safe, doable, yet challenging. Traditional, as well as contemporary, yoga poses and exercises are incorporated. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Stretch Class: S-T-R-E-T-C-H out Tension, Stress & Stiffness with Linda

Beginner-friendly and designed to accommodate all experience levels. Keeping flexible, mobile, supple and lengthened, are drug-free secrets to a pain-free, anti-aging and high-energy way of living. Stretching helps to complement a grueling workout program, tight muscles, stiff joints or a sedentary, screen oriented lifestyle. This class incorporates stretching, mindful breathing, safe posture alignment, meditation, and of course -- a YOGA POSE of the day. "Cool yoga props used!" This class includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Detox & Flow Yoga with Linda

Recommended for students with some prior yoga experience. This uplifting class incorporates various detoxifying warm ups, yoga pose sequences (detox Rahini Yoga® Flows) and breathing methods to work and cleanse the body, and increase metabolism. Several “held” yoga poses are included to enhance the healing and to deepen the challenge. Movement with breath is emphasized. This class culminates with relaxation and a Rahini breath-meditation.

Beginners Rahini Yoga® with Jean

Suitable for all levels. Good choice for beginners. Learn all the essentials and basics of yoga, correct alignment and breathing with a gentle, safe and personalized touch. The yoga poses and modifications are designed in such a progressive way for those who desire more of a personal challenge. This class we leave you feeling refreshed, uplifted and relaxed. All are welcome. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Beginners Yoga with a "Challenge" with Lauren

Suitable for all levels. A perfect class for the beginner yoga student who likes to be safely challenged. Even though yoga basics and essentials are still emphasized, creative class sequences, breathwork and yoga props are used to encourage the class to discover and explore their personal yoga "edge." This class uses the wonderful, healing sounds of crystal singing bowls. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation. 

Rahini Yoga® Flow & Go - New Class Beginning Summer 2019

For all levels, from beginner to intermediate to more advanced. A perfect way to begin the day! An invigorating combination of stretch, flow, and breathing techniques offering everyone a positive start to a great morning. Modifications will always be offered to ensure students can work at their own pace and not feel obligated to try poses they are not ready for. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Wake Up, Energize & Start your Day! With Alternating Teachers

Suitable for all levels. These awakening, stimulating and challenging yoga held poses and moving sequences are balanced with a class ending of relaxation and restoration. This class emphasizes fundamentals, natural body alignment and breath awareness. Modifications will always be offered to ensure students can work at their own pace and not feel obligated to try poses they are not ready for. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Energizing Vinyasa with Alternating Teachers

Suitable for all levels. This energizing class synchronizes physical movement, or yoga poses, with your breath. This technique allows you to create a deeper absorption of awareness through a rhythmic moving meditation while practicing yoga. Modifications will always be offered to ensure students can work at their own pace and not feel obligated to try poses they are not ready for. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation.

Morning Flow & Go with Lauren

Level 1-2. Expect to move with the breath and mindfulness. This balanced class, that includes "yoga core" and body awareness, will get you out of your head and into your body and breath. This class is also great for those students new to yoga, as modifications are offered. Includes a Rahini breath-meditation. 

Awaken Qigong & Awaken Crystal Qigong Class Series with Dr. Dean Telano

For all levels & no experience needed. "Awaken Qigong" is a practice of accumulating and cultivating vital life-force (Qi) in the body. This Qigong class is an integration of physical exercises; breathing techniques; meditation; creative visualization, mental intentions; feelings and sensations; sound and vibration; and specialized hand gestures or mudras. This class is very healing! The ​Taiji Pearl and Taiji Ruler are two props required to participate in this class. These props can purchased at out gift shop. 


New Classes @Inspired Yoga & Healing Center

Vin-YIN Yoga (Vinyasa + Yin = YOGA AWESOMENESS!) - 2nd Week of the Month

Suitable for all levels. Vin-YIN Yoga, also referred to as Yin Yang Yoga, is a yoga sequence that combines Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga. This class, here at the studio, normally practices Vinyasas during the first half of the class, and Yin Yoga poses during the second half of the class. The Vinyasa portion warms the body up and rids your body of stress, tension, and stagnant energy. After this, your body is ready to relax, lengthen and restore during the Yin Yoga portion. Includes healing crystal singing bowls and a Rahini breath-meditation.

RESTORATIVE Yin Yoga (Heal, Relax, Rejuvenate & Restore) - 3rd Week of Month

Suitable for all levels. If you want to heal, reduce stress and find serenity, then this class is for you! This class includes restorative poses held for a specific amount of time, supported by props that allow you to completely center, relax, rejuvenate and restore. This class is different all the time, and might include light twists, seated forward folds, gentle backbends and modified and supported inversions. Includes healing crystal singing bowls and a Rahini breath-meditation.
